Strawberry Begonia – 2 Exact Live Plants, 4-Inch Size – Saxifraga stolonifera

Two exact Strawberry Begonia plants in the 4-inch size category. Saxifraga stolonifera has silver-veined leaves and trailing runners. Shipped bare root without pots.

📝 DESCRIPTION:

This listing includes 2 exact Strawberry Begonia live plants in the 4-inch nursery pot size category. You will receive the specific plants shown in the listing photographs. The plants may have gained or lost leaves since the photographs were taken, so their appearance at shipping may differ.

Despite its common name, Strawberry Begonia is not a true Begonia. Its accepted scientific name is Saxifraga stolonifera, and it belongs to the Saxifragaceae family. It is also commonly called Strawberry Geranium.

This ornamental perennial is recognized for its rounded, slightly scalloped green leaves with contrasting silvery veins and often reddish-purple undersides. It develops slender runners that may produce small plantlets, giving the plant a spreading or trailing appearance. Under suitable conditions, it may produce delicate white flowers.

Strawberry Begonia is suitable for decorative containers, hanging baskets, shaded garden areas, and indoor foliage displays. It generally prefers partial shade or bright, indirect light, well-draining soil, and consistent but moderate moisture.
