Sprite Astilbe (Astilbe simplicifolia ‘Sprite’) is a compact, shade-loving herbaceous perennial admired for its delicate pale pink flower plumes, finely textured foliage, and graceful mounding habit. Its soft flower color and attractive leaves make it a useful addition to woodland gardens, shaded perennial borders, cottage-style landscapes, and decorative outdoor containers.

During summer, Sprite Astilbe produces airy, slightly arching flower plumes in shades of soft pink to blush pink. The blossoms rise above a tidy mound of finely divided, glossy green foliage, creating a light, feathery appearance. The flowers provide seasonal interest and can also be appreciated as cut flowers. As the blooms age, they may gradually fade to muted tan tones.

Sprite Astilbe performs best in partial shade and consistently moist, fertile, well-drained soil. It is particularly suited to locations where the soil retains moisture without remaining waterlogged. In cooler climates, it may tolerate additional sunlight when adequate moisture is available. As an herbaceous perennial, Sprite Astilbe naturally becomes dormant during winter and produces fresh growth in spring.

Each order includes 1 live Sprite Astilbe supplied in a 1-gallon nursery pot (G1).
