Skyrocket Juniper 1 Live Evergreen Shrub, 1 Gallon Pot – Juniperus scopulorum ‘Skyrocket’

Skyrocket Juniper (Juniperus scopulorum ‘Skyrocket’) is a distinctive evergreen conifer valued for its exceptionally narrow, upright growth habit and attractive silvery blue-green foliage. A cultivated selection of Rocky Mountain juniper, this ornamental plant provides strong vertical structure in landscapes while occupying relatively little horizontal space. Its architectural appearance makes it suitable for foundation plantings, entryway accents, formal gardens, narrow borders, and evergreen screening arrangements.

The foliage consists of small, overlapping, scale-like leaves arranged densely along upright branches. Its silvery blue-green coloration provides year-round ornamental interest and contrasts attractively with broadleaf shrubs, flowering perennials, and other evergreens. Skyrocket Juniper naturally develops a slender, columnar silhouette, making it especially useful where a vertical accent is desired.

Skyrocket Juniper performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it is relatively drought tolerant and adapts to a variety of soil conditions, including sandy or rocky soils. It generally prefers good air circulation and does not tolerate prolonged waterlogging. As an evergreen conifer, it retains its foliage throughout the year, although subtle seasonal changes in color and density may occur.
