Sky Pencil Japanese Holly 1 Live Evergreen Shrub, 3 Gallon Pot – Ilex crenata ‘Sky Pencil’

Sky Pencil Japanese Holly (Ilex crenata ‘Sky Pencil’) is a distinctive broadleaf evergreen shrub admired for its narrow, upright, columnar growth habit and attractive dark green foliage. Its slender architectural form provides strong vertical interest in landscapes without requiring a wide planting area. The small, glossy, oval leaves remain green throughout the year, creating a refined appearance suitable for formal and contemporary garden designs.

This Japanese holly develops dense, upright branching that gives it a naturally pencil-like silhouette. Sky Pencil is particularly well suited to entryway plantings, foundation accents, narrow garden beds, patio containers, and symmetrical landscape arrangements. It can also be used in groups to create vertical evergreen accents or a narrow living screen. The plant generally performs best in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Its upright form makes it especially useful where horizontal garden space is limited.

Each order includes 1 live Sky Pencil Japanese Holly shrub supplied in a 3-gallon nursery container. The nursery label specifies a shipping height of approximately 24 inches. The plant is rooted and container-grown. Branching density, foliage distribution, and overall appearance may vary naturally with growing conditions and seasonal nursery maintenance.
