Renaissance Spirea (Spiraea × vanhouttei ‘Renaissance’) is a deciduous ornamental shrub known for its abundant white spring flowers and gracefully arching branches. A cultivated selection of Vanhoutte spirea, this flowering shrub develops a broad, fountain-like growth habit and creates an attractive seasonal display in mixed borders, informal hedges, foundation plantings, and traditional cottage gardens.

During late spring to early summer, Renaissance Spirea produces numerous small white flowers arranged in rounded clusters along its arching stems. The blossoms can cover much of the branching structure, creating a cascading appearance. Its blue-green to medium-green foliage provides texture during the growing season and may develop yellow, orange, or reddish tones in autumn. The flowers may attract bees and other pollinating insects.

Renaissance Spirea performs best in full sun and well-drained garden soil. It tolerates a range of soil conditions and prefers moderate watering during establishment. Once established, it can withstand occasional dry periods. Its arching, spreading growth habit makes it particularly suitable for flowering hedges, shrub borders, naturalistic landscapes, and ornamental group plantings.

Each order includes 1 live Renaissance Spirea supplied in a 1-gallon nursery pot (G1).
