Paraplu Rouge™ Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus Paraplu Rouge™) is a deciduous flowering shrub valued for its large, vibrant reddish-pink flowers and upright, bushy growth habit. Part of the Proven Winners® ornamental shrub collection, this Rose of Sharon selection produces showy blossoms that bring rich color to summer landscapes, flowering borders, and specimen plantings.

Its flowers feature overlapping petals in deep rosy-red to reddish-pink shades, creating a full, colorful appearance. Blooming from summer into early fall, Paraplu Rouge™ Rose of Sharon provides seasonal floral interest when many spring-flowering shrubs have finished blooming. The plant develops green foliage and performs best in full sun, although it can tolerate partial shade. Once established, it adapts to a range of well-drained soil conditions and can tolerate occasional dry periods.

Each order includes 1 live Paraplu Rouge™ Rose of Sharon shrub supplied in a 3-gallon nursery container. The plant is approximately 18 inches tall at the time of shipping. As a deciduous shrub, it naturally loses its leaves during fall and enters winter dormancy. Depending on the season, plants may arrive leafless, recently pruned, or without flowers.
