Little Princess Spirea (Spiraea japonica ‘Little Princess’) is a compact deciduous flowering shrub admired for its clusters of delicate, soft pink flowers and attractive green foliage. During late spring and summer, numerous small blossoms gather into flat-topped flower clusters above the leaves, creating a colorful display. Its finely textured foliage provides additional ornamental interest throughout the growing season and may develop yellow, orange, or reddish tones in autumn.
This Japanese spirea cultivar develops a naturally dense, rounded, mounding growth habit that makes it suitable for foundation plantings, mixed shrub borders, garden edging, mass plantings, and decorative outdoor containers. Its compact form works especially well in smaller garden spaces, while the flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other visiting pollinators.
Little Princess Spirea performs best in full sun to partial shade and prefers fertile, well-drained soil with moderate moisture. Established plants can tolerate occasional dry conditions, although consistent moisture supports attractive foliage and flowering. As a deciduous shrub, it naturally loses its leaves and enters dormancy during winter.
Each order includes 1 live Little Princess Spirea supplied in a 1-gallon nursery container (G1).
