Golden Mops False Cypress 1 Live Shrub – Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Mops’ – 3 Gallon Pot – 15″

Golden Mops False Cypress (Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Mops’) is a dwarf evergreen ornamental conifer known for its brilliant golden-yellow foliage and naturally low, mounding growth habit. Its fine, thread-like foliage creates a soft, cascading texture that adds color and contrast to ornamental landscapes throughout the year.

This cultivar develops a rounded to broadly pyramidal form, with slender foliage sprays that drape gracefully over its branches. The golden foliage generally displays its brightest color when grown in full sun, making Golden Mops False Cypress a distinctive choice for foundation plantings, rock gardens, mixed evergreen borders, and landscape accents. Its fine texture also complements plants with darker or broader foliage.

Supplied as one live Golden Mops False Cypress in a 3 gallon nursery pot, this specimen measures approximately 15 inches tall at the time of shipping. It grows best in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Its evergreen habit and naturally colorful foliage make it suitable for garden beds and outdoor containers in appropriate climates.
