Golden Mops False Cypress 1 Live Shrub – Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Mops’ – 2 Gallon Pot – 12″

Golden Mops False Cypress (Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Mops’) is a dwarf evergreen ornamental conifer admired for its brilliant golden-yellow, thread-like foliage and naturally low, mounding growth habit. Its fine, cascading foliage creates a soft, textured appearance that contrasts beautifully with broadleaf shrubs, dark green evergreens, and ornamental garden plants.

This cultivar develops a rounded to broadly pyramidal form with gracefully drooping foliage sprays that resemble golden threads. The foliage provides year-round color, with the brightest golden tones generally developing in full sun. Golden Mops False Cypress is suitable for foundation plantings, rock gardens, mixed evergreen borders, specimen accents, and decorative outdoor containers.

Supplied as one live Golden Mops False Cypress in a 2 gallon nursery pot, this specimen measures approximately 12 inches tall at the time of shipping. It performs best in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Its compact form and vivid foliage make it a useful evergreen accent in ornamental landscapes.
