Girard's Crimson Azalea – 1 Live Evergreen Flowering Shrub, 3-Gallon Size – Rhododendron ‘Girard's Crimson’

Girard's Crimson Azalea (Rhododendron ‘Girard's Crimson’) is a compact evergreen flowering shrub known for its rich crimson-red to purplish-red blossoms. Each flower features gently wavy petal edges and a vivid red blotch, creating an attractive display during the spring flowering season.

This Girard hybrid azalea typically blooms in the middle to later part of the azalea flowering season, depending on local climate. Its dark green evergreen foliage provides year-round garden structure and develops attractive burgundy tones during colder winter weather. The combination of colorful blossoms and seasonal foliage makes it suitable for foundation plantings, shrub borders, woodland gardens, and outdoor containers.

Girard's Crimson Azalea prefers acidic, organically rich, well-drained soil with consistent moisture. It performs well in partial sun to partial shade, particularly where protected from intense afternoon sunlight. Its dense, rounded growth habit makes it useful for ornamental groupings and smaller garden spaces.
