Gemo St. John's Wort 1 Live Flowering Shrub, 2 Gallon Pot – Hypericum kalmianum ‘Gemo’

Gemo St. John's Wort (Hypericum kalmianum ‘Gemo’) is an ornamental flowering shrub admired for its abundant golden-yellow blossoms, fine-textured green foliage, and compact, rounded growth habit. Its cheerful flowers feature five yellow petals surrounding a prominent cluster of golden stamens, creating an attractive display during the summer flowering season.

This hardy shrub develops a dense, bushy form with slender stems and narrow green leaves that provide an attractive backdrop for its flowers. Gemo is suitable for mixed shrub borders, foundation plantings, cottage gardens, pollinator-friendly landscapes, and outdoor containers. Its flowers can attract bees and other visiting pollinators. The plant generally performs best in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil with moderate moisture. Once established, it can tolerate occasional dry conditions, although consistent moisture supports healthy growth.
