Double Play Doozie Spirea 1 Live Plant – Spiraea ‘NCSX2’ – 3 Gallon Pot

Double Play Doozie® Spirea (Spiraea ‘NCSX2’) is a deciduous flowering shrub known for its vibrant red-pink flower clusters, colorful emerging foliage, and extended blooming period. New leaves emerge with rich reddish tones in spring before maturing to green, creating attractive seasonal contrast in ornamental gardens.

This Proven Winners® selection produces bright red-pink flowers from late spring through summer under favorable conditions. Unlike many traditional Japanese spirea varieties, Double Play Doozie® is a sterile hybrid that does not produce viable seed. Its compact, rounded, mounding growth habit makes it suitable for foundation plantings, mixed shrub borders, mass plantings, and outdoor containers.

This listing includes one live Double Play Doozie® Spirea in a 3 gallon nursery pot. The plant measures approximately 15 inches tall at shipping. It performs best in full sun and prefers well-drained soil with moderate moisture. As a deciduous shrub, it may arrive dormant, leafless, or recently pruned depending on the season.
