Canadian Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis), also known as Eastern Hemlock, is a graceful evergreen conifer native to eastern North America. It is admired for its fine-textured green needles, naturally layered branches, and elegant appearance. Its soft-looking foliage provides year-round greenery and adds depth and texture to woodland gardens, shaded landscapes, and ornamental conifer plantings.

This evergreen tree develops a naturally pyramidal growth habit with delicate, slightly drooping branch tips. Canadian Hemlock is especially valued for its tolerance of partial shade and its ability to complement woodland-style landscapes. Its small, flattened needles and refined branching distinguish it from many other evergreen conifers.

Supplied as one live Canadian Hemlock tree in a 1 gallon nursery pot, this specimen measures approximately 8–10 inches tall at the time of shipping. Canadian Hemlock generally prefers partial shade, moist well-drained soil, and cool to temperate growing conditions. It is particularly suited to landscapes where consistent soil moisture and protection from intense heat are available.
