Blue Pacific Shore Juniper (Juniperus conferta ‘Blue Pacific’) is a hardy evergreen groundcover valued for its attractive blue-green foliage, low-growing habit, and naturally trailing branches. Its dense, pointed, needle-like leaves create a textured evergreen carpet that provides year-round color and visual interest. The foliage may develop subtle seasonal color variations during colder weather.
This spreading juniper forms a low, broad groundcover with branches that extend horizontally and may cascade over landscape edges. Blue Pacific Shore Juniper is particularly suitable for slopes, retaining walls, rock gardens, coastal landscapes, evergreen borders, and large groundcover plantings. Its dense foliage creates an attractive contrast with ornamental grasses, flowering perennials, and natural stone.
Blue Pacific Shore Juniper generally performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. It is especially valued for its tolerance of coastal conditions, including salt spray and sandy soils. Once established, it also offers good drought tolerance. Although adaptable to challenging landscape conditions, it performs best where soil drainage is adequate and prolonged waterlogging is avoided.
Each order includes 1 live Blue Pacific Shore Juniper supplied in a 3-gallon nursery container (G3).
