Blue Moon Wisteria – 1 Live Flowering Vine, 3-Gallon Size, Trellis Form – Wisteria macrostachya ‘Blue Moon’

Blue Moon Wisteria (Wisteria macrostachya ‘Blue Moon’) is a deciduous ornamental climbing vine known for its fragrant lavender-blue to violet-blue flowers. Its cascading flower clusters create an elegant display during the growing season, making this cultivar a distinctive choice for arbors, pergolas, trellises, and vertical garden accents.

The main flowering display generally occurs in late spring to early summer, with additional blooms possible later in the season under favorable conditions. Compound green leaves provide a lush backdrop for the hanging blossoms. Blue Moon is a cultivated selection of Kentucky wisteria, a North American native species recognized for its cold tolerance.

This vigorous, twining vine performs best in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil with moderate moisture. It requires a sturdy support structure and sufficient room for its climbing stems. Blue Moon Wisteria is particularly suited to landscape features where its flowering vines can be trained and maintained.
