Blue Chiffon® Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus ‘Blue Chiffon’) is a deciduous flowering shrub trained into an attractive patio tree form. This Proven Winners® selection is admired for its elegant semi-double blue flowers, featuring a delicate, lacy center of lighter lavender-blue petals. Its distinctive flower structure and ornamental tree form create an appealing focal point for patios, entryways, courtyards, and sunny garden landscapes.

Blooming abundantly from July through September, Blue Chiffon® Rose of Sharon produces showy blue-lavender flowers against attractive green foliage. Unlike the traditional multi-stemmed shrub form, this patio tree is trained to develop a defined central trunk supporting a flowering canopy. It performs best in full sun, tolerates partial shade, and prefers well-drained soil. Its decorative form makes it suitable for specimen plantings, large outdoor containers, and ornamental landscape accents.

Each order includes 1 live Blue Chiffon® Rose of Sharon patio tree supplied in a 3-gallon nursery container. The tree is approximately 30 inches tall at the time of shipping. This is a trained patio tree form rather than the standard bush-form shrub. As a deciduous plant, it naturally loses its leaves during fall and enters winter dormancy. Depending on seasonal conditions, the tree may arrive leafless, recently pruned, or without flowers.
