Annabelle Smooth Hydrangea – 1 Live Shrub, 1-Quart Size – Hydrangea arborescens ‘Annabelle’

Annabelle Smooth Hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens ‘Annabelle’) is a deciduous flowering shrub known for its large, rounded clusters of creamy-white flowers. Its abundant summer blooms and lush green foliage make it a popular choice for ornamental borders, foundation plantings, woodland gardens, and mixed shrub beds.

The flowers typically emerge with a soft greenish tint before opening to white, then gradually transition to pale green as they age. Flower heads can reach approximately 12 inches across under favorable growing conditions. Annabelle flowers on new wood, producing its seasonal blooms on stems that develop during the current growing season.

This North American smooth hydrangea selection grows best in partial shade to full sun, with afternoon shade beneficial in warmer climates. It prefers fertile, moist, well-drained soil and consistent watering, particularly during hot or dry weather.
