Alocasia Plumbae Metallica – 2 Live Starter Plants, 2-Inch Size – Alocasia plumbea ‘Metallica’

This listing includes 2 Alocasia Plumbae Metallica live starter plants in the 2-inch nursery pot size category. You will receive plants similar to those shown in the listing photographs. The exact leaf count, foliage appearance, coloration, and overall plant shape may vary.

Alocasia Plumbae Metallica, commonly sold under the horticultural name Alocasia plumbea ‘Metallica’, is a tropical ornamental foliage plant known for its dramatic leaves and metallic-looking coloration. Depending on growing conditions and plant development, the foliage may display deep green, bronze, or purplish tones, with contrasting leaf surfaces and veins.

This Alocasia develops an upright growth habit from an underground growing structure. Young starter plants may have simpler leaves and less developed coloration than established specimens.

Alocasia plants can be sensitive to shipping and may lose leaves during transit. Leaf loss does not necessarily mean that the underground growing structure is no longer viable. However, recovery and new growth depend on the condition of the plant and its growing environment and cannot be guaranteed.

Alocasia Plumbae Metallica generally prefers bright, indirect light, an airy, well-draining growing medium, and moderate moisture without prolonged waterlogging.
