Alocasia Dark Star – 2 Exact Live Plants, 4-Inch Size – Alocasia ‘Dark Star’

This listing includes 2 exact Alocasia Dark Star live plants in the 4-inch listed pot size category. You will receive the specific plants shown in the listing photographs. Because these are living plants, they may have gained or lost leaves since the photographs were taken. Leaf count, foliage density, and overall appearance may differ at shipment.

Alocasia Dark Star, botanically identified as Alocasia ‘Dark Star’, is a tropical ornamental aroid valued for its dramatic foliage and dark-colored stems. This cultivated Alocasia is commonly recognized for its green, arrow-shaped leaves and dark purple to nearly black petioles, creating a distinctive contrast.

This perennial foliage plant generally has an upright, clump-forming growth habit and is suitable for tropical plant collections and protected containers. It prefers bright, indirect light to filtered sunlight, an airy, well-draining growing medium, and moderate moisture. Like other Alocasias, it may experience seasonal dormancy or leaf loss when conditions become unfavorable.

Shipping Size & Condition:

Shipping Clarification:

The final Shipping Notice confirms that the plants are shipped bare root without nursery pots. This takes precedence over the earlier statement indicating shipment in a pot.

The separate 2-inch starter-plant disclaimer does not apply to this 4-inch listing.

Plant Condition Disclosure:

Live plants may be shipped dormant, leafless, recently pruned, bare root, or partially defoliated depending on season, weather, and shipping requirements.

Natural variation in size, branching, foliage density, color, root structure, and overall appearance should be expected.

Important Note:

You will receive a live starter plant (seedling/young plant). Listing photos show the plant at a mature stage for reference only. The actual plant size, shape, and appearance may vary and will be significantly smaller than the images shown.
