Add one of the most distinctive foliage orchids to your collection with this set of 2 Ludisia discolor (Jewel Orchid) starter plants. Unlike orchids grown primarily for their flowers, the Jewel Orchid is prized for its velvety dark green to burgundy leaves accented with shimmering veins, making it a favorite among houseplant and terrarium enthusiasts.

These plants have been grown from tissue culture and are not cuttings. Jewel Orchids naturally develop roots very slowly, and the root systems on these young starter plants may be lightly established, extremely small, or still developing. Despite their slow root development, the plants are healthy and will continue to establish with proper care. Mature plant photos are provided for reference only.

Plant Condition Disclosure:

Live plants may be shipped dormant, leafless, recently pruned, bare root, or partially defoliated depending on season, weather, and shipping requirements.

Natural variation in size, foliage color, leaf pattern, root development, and overall appearance should be expected.

Important Note:

You will receive a live starter plant (seedling/young plant). Listing photos show the plant at a mature stage for reference only. The actual plant size, shape, and appearance may vary and will be significantly smaller than the images shown.

Shipping Information Notice: The listing contains conflicting shipping details. One section states the plants are shipped with the pot carefully wrapped, while the shipping notice states nursery pots are not included and plants are shipped bare root. Please verify the correct shipping method before publishing.
