Tiny Wine® Ninebark (Physocarpus opulifolius ‘SMPOTW’) is a compact deciduous flowering shrub prized for its finely textured burgundy foliage, abundant spring flowers, and naturally dense growth habit. This ornamental selection of eastern ninebark combines small, refined leaves with a tidy, rounded form, making it suitable for smaller landscapes, foundation plantings, mixed shrub borders, and decorative outdoor containers.

During spring, Tiny Wine® Ninebark develops numerous tiny pink flower buds along its branches. These buds open into clusters of small white to pale pink flowers, creating a striking contrast against the dark burgundy foliage. The blossoms appear along the stems, providing a full floral display, while the compact branching habit contributes to the shrub's attractive appearance throughout the growing season.

Tiny Wine® Ninebark performs best in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil with moderate moisture. Its naturally full, rounded growth habit generally requires minimal shaping and makes it useful for low ornamental hedges, specimen plantings, and colorful landscape accents. As a deciduous shrub, it loses its leaves during winter, revealing its branching structure and characteristic exfoliating bark.

Each order includes 1 live Tiny Wine® Ninebark supplied in a 2-gallon nursery container (G2).
