Steady as She Goes® Gardenia 1 Live Shrub – Gardenia jasminoides – 1 Gallon Pot

Steady as She Goes® Gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides, Steady as She Goes® selection) is a broadleaf evergreen flowering shrub known for its fragrant white blossoms and glossy, dark-green foliage. The showy flowers create an elegant contrast against the evergreen leaves, making this gardenia a distinctive addition to fragrant gardens and ornamental landscapes.

This Proven Winners® selection develops a dense, bushy growth habit and offers improved cold tolerance compared with many traditional gardenias. Its white flowers typically appear from late spring into summer, with the exact flowering period depending on local climate. The plant is suitable for foundation plantings, mixed shrub borders, entryway landscapes, and outdoor containers.

This listing includes one live Steady as She Goes® Gardenia in a 1 gallon nursery pot. It performs best in full sun to partial shade and prefers acidic, organically rich, well-drained soil. Consistent moisture supports healthy foliage and flowering, while good drainage is important for long-term performance.
