Sonic Bloom® Wine Weigela 1 Live Flowering Shrub, 1 Gallon Pot – Weigela florida

Sonic Bloom® Wine Weigela is a deciduous ornamental shrub valued for its rich, wine-purple foliage, colorful tubular flowers, and repeat-flowering characteristics. Combining dark foliage with bright seasonal blooms, this weigela creates attractive contrast in mixed shrub borders, foundation plantings, cottage gardens, and ornamental landscapes.

During late spring, Sonic Bloom® Wine Weigela produces clusters of rosy pink to reddish-pink, trumpet-shaped flowers that stand out against its burgundy-toned foliage. Additional flowering may occur during summer and into early autumn under favorable conditions. The tubular blossoms can attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and other visiting pollinators.

This flowering shrub performs best in full sun to partial shade, with ample sunlight helping maintain rich foliage coloration and supporting abundant blooms. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and moderate watering, especially during establishment. Its naturally rounded, branching growth habit makes it suitable for flowering hedges, mixed borders, and decorative outdoor containers.

Each order includes 1 live Sonic Bloom® Wine Weigela supplied in a 1-gallon nursery pot (G1).
