Bloomerang® Dark Purple Lilac – 1 Live Standard-Form Shrub, 3-Gallon Size – Syringa ‘Penda’

Bloomerang® Dark Purple Lilac (Syringa ‘Penda’) is a deciduous ornamental flowering plant known for its fragrant purple blossoms and repeat-flowering characteristics. This listing identifies the plant as a standard form (STD), a nursery-trained shape that typically features a raised crown supported by a central stem rather than the natural multi-stemmed shrub form.

In spring, clusters of fragrant, deep purple flowers emerge among the green foliage. After the main spring flowering period, additional blooms may develop from summer into early autumn when growing conditions are favorable. The rounded flowering crown and colorful blossoms make this lilac an attractive choice for patio containers, garden entrances, and formal landscape accents.

Bloomerang® Dark Purple Lilac performs best in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. It prefers moderate moisture and good air circulation. Because standard-form lilacs are trained into a specific shape, their appearance and branching structure can vary with nursery production and seasonal pruning.

This listing includes 1 live Bloomerang® Dark Purple Lilac in the 3-gallon size category, identified by the seller as STD (standard form), with a seller-provided measurement of 12 inches and the notation HD. The meaning of HD has not been confirmed, and the 12-inch measurement is not verified as the plant's shipping height.

Botanical Identification Note: ‘Penda’ is the cultivar designation for Bloomerang® Dark Purple Lilac. The supplier's notation Syringa × ‘Penda’ indicates hybrid origin; the listing uses Syringa ‘Penda’ as the botanical identification.
